Old school handwritten music notation is still cool…
Handwritten music notation is still cool: I just posted this one to Instagram. It’s from a piano piece I’m working on which I will be sharing with my patrons soon (so if you’re not a patron yet, what’re you waiting for?). 🙂 It’s obviously much more difficult and I don’t do it often, preferring my iPad/Apple Pencil and Presonus Notion combo (or Mac/Notion), but it’s cool to do it every now and again. The best thing is you can do it anywhere, and sometimes it’s good to just jot down an idea quickly, so you can remember it later.

“I’m a huge fan of the iPad/ApplePencil and Notion combination for writing music, but do still love the old-school feeling of pen to paper every now and again. It’s not exactly pretty, but its battery lasts as long as there’s food, health, ink/pencil (& sharpener), wakefulness… ok, so the human battery can last longer than an iPad, maybe. 😉 This is from a piano piece I’m working on. 🙂
