Music is an integral part of my creative process, creating it, listening to it, thinking about it. It is yet another expression of beauty that has been part of my life since a very young age, having composed music and played piano throughout most of my youth. It was after filming Reaction, The Doll Chronicles, that I realized I had created much more than the theme, but music that served my idea of The Doll Chronicles quite well. So, I set out to create more music for the films, some of which ended up as the score for Paranoia, The Doll Chronicles and for Consequence, The Doll Chronicles. Some of it didn’t make the cut for the films, but I thought it would be fun to release it, which is why I released iBoogie. From there, I’ve explored other musical areas and continue to release other music in multiple genres and for other projects. You can find all my current releases here:

Though my initial releases were focused on scoring for films, and I do have a special love for the genre, I’ve never thought of myself tied down to it. I love to explore all genres of music and even beyond them. As I mention in my biography, a single playlist can jump from Nine Inch Nails to Beethoven to Snoop Dogg to Led Zeppelin to The Ink Spots to John Barry to She Wants Revenge.
“Esteve has composed a glistening tune that is simultaneously diaphanous and sensitive, yet emancipated and emotive.” – Huffington Post review of The Wait.
With the music single releases, the Mallorca 360 Season 1 Soundtrack (currently available) and the upcoming, contemporary classical music album, The Hunt (coming soon), I’ve certainly moved beyond the films and begun to explore other stories and expressions with my releases. No matter what though, the focus is always on beauty, on expression, on communicating, on the story, on the feeling. It’s one of the things I love about music, how it expresses itself so variedly and how it can incite all sorts of feelings and interpretations upon the listener. It’s yet another form of seeking and expressing beauty in all its variants.
